i just got hired for this job. i am an attractive guy and in good shape. the cute women who hired me has been very, very, flirty with me from the beginning. she called me up, quite a few times trying to set up interviews, she has said im her guy, has walked me out when i meet with her, has told me that i seem really confident, (kind of weird) gives me huge beaming smiles. anyways the other day the district manager called me up, and told me there were a lot of applicants, some with more experiance then me but she has chosen me for the job. i just wanted some basic thoughts on this what do you think of her behavior, and what do you think im in store for with her?

I wouldn't assume it means anything. Sounds like the way people act at times. I could list a few dozen examples of this very thing happening between guys interviewing guys.

I've almost always gotten several calls from a company wanting to hire me. In most companies someone is required to escort the interviewee out. And people get hired every day based on confidence and gut feelings rather than qualifications.

This sounds like a lot of wishful thinking on your part that is more likely to get you seriously embarrassed or even fired.

She may be attracted to you but my advice to you would be never ever mix business with pleasure. This will more than likely cause problems for you both in the future. If it's a good job, don't mess it up right away with an office fling. Good jobs are hard to come by these days. I believe in flirting, it's a natural thing, but know where to draw the line. There has got to be other women outside this job that you can pursue.

She obviously likes you but i think you could be reading to much into it...be happy you got the job and be proud that she chose you over more qualified people. She obviously thinks you would be good for the job otherwise im sure she wouldnt of hired you as she could have not hired you and just given you a call and asked you out...Goodluck with the new job and all the best!

People are not hired based on qualifications or experience alone. If that were the case there would be no need for an interview. In your question I see nothing that is beyond the means of business but you should keep your eyes open for more "hints".

Lucky you, your good looks got you the job! Well a good question for you is, does she act this way around other guys as well? Maybe she is flirting with you, but I would be very very very very (very) careful! Even if she does flirt with you in a very obvious way, you have to be careful how you reciprocate in the workplace, because of sexual harassment policies. The best thing to do, if you want to explore possibilities with her, is meet her after work.
Try your best to keep business and your personal life from crossing.

i think she might have a crush on you, but you should definatly not do anything about it. if you want to flirt, just do it lightly. work place and relationships is always a NO NO! so be very careful, . be friendly, and nice, . it could get you into trouble. i think her behavior is unprofessional, but she prob can't help it. so , maybe help her out, don't flirt back, and she'll snap out of it and be professional, unless you like the attention, then like i said, just lightly flirt with her. no more.

Sexual Harassment does go both ways.
She seems to have taken a shine to you. If it's innocent enough roll with it. If it steps over the line just remember that there is no shame is calling it foul.

listen you got the job because she likes you and only that reason hon what you need to do is get another job unless you like her back cause things are gonna be really bad if you don't like her back.it will get complicated and you might end up hurting her. not meaning to of course.

If she hired you, she might be your supervisor. In that respect, all she wants you to do is do your job and make her look good in the district mamager's eyes.

she hired you because of your looks. no one knows what she has in store for you. just don't cross the line and be unprofessional and have an office romance. be professional at all times.
