It was for his political survival! He was corrupt, and he corrupted it. He and he council of Nicene, chose from a large selection of writings, the four that most suited his agenda, and he and his council edited them, to fit their agenda even more closely, and then they canonized them, and called all the other writings heretical, and even tried to destroy them all. But, some of the writings did manage to survive! *sm*

that's a undesirable custom that they save working in direction of like good Friday. some bibles have it that He died on a go and in different aspects on a tree. The go and tree are actually not a similar. The translators of a few of those bibles are undecided of themselves. Jesus died on a stake. His dying is comparable to the copper serpent. Moses lifted up the copper serpent on a pole, so the Son of guy could be lifted up. good SIMILARITIES a million) the two Jesus and the copper serpent are sinless 2) the two Jesus and the copper serpent used to save human beings 3) the two Jesus and the copper serpent have been lifted up a similar way on a pole/stake undesirable SIMILARITIES a million) the two Jesus and the copper serpent are worshiped by utilising those they're used to save Many Christians are conscious Jesus did not die on a go yet proceed to prepare this undesirable custom, as they're conscious Christmas and Easter customs are pagan and proceed to prepare them besides. Their love for God is undesirable. they don't care if he's unhappy as lengthy as they're happy. If Jesus died on a go, it would make the scriptures invalid at Gal 3:13 and De 21:23. besides, serpents won't be able to be crucified..they have not got palms to stretch out forming a " T ". purely as Moses lifted up the serpent ON A POLE so the Son of guy could be lifted up. Accursed is any guy who hangs on a STAKE/POLE A Jehovah's Witness

Constantine had nothing to do with the compilation of the Bible. That's a myth. He died about 60 years before the Canon of Scripture was finalized. Constantine legalized Christianity (=Catholicism), thereby making it much easier for the faith to grow and spread.

He put an end to the persecution and mass murder of Christians. To my knowledge, he had nothing to do with the establishment of the biblical canon.
CJ, please explain how St. Ignatius (a disciple of the Apostle John) in the letter to the Smyrnaeans, written about the year 110, describes the Christian Church as the Catholic Church. "Wheresoever the bishop shall appear, there let the people be, even as where Jesus may be, there is the universal Church (katholike ekklesia)." Ignatius wrote this letter 165 years before Constatine was even born.

By making it the State religion he corrupted it. Church leaders became political appointees. He wished to have a unified doctrine, so "heretics" were excluded from authority. He didn't care what the church taught, as long as it taught the same thing everywhere.

He merged Christianity and paganism, which led to the catholic cult, which isn't true Christianity and cannot save anyone.
He also used the Christians as tools for his conquering goals by falsely claiming to be a Christian. Just like GWB and his group did in our day.

he did not edit the bible.
he forced bishops from across Christendom to come together and establish the core christian belief system. then, he donated money so that bibles would be written and sent them throughout the world so people would be converted.
