The King James translation can be a bit hard to understand, so you might want to find someone who's a Christian and can help you out with it. As Opinionated has said, though, the book of John is a good place to start. Be open; don't dismiss anything just because it seems unlikely or incredible; if you havea question you can always post it here. There are plenty of Christians willing to help out.

Yeah, it's an old dynamic translation (in the common vernacular of the time). Be sure that you don't take it as the best translation or even an accurate one. Other than that, it's a good fiction book with some good advice and like lessons.

Its true, but written in the kings English. I would start in the book of John, the 4th. book in the new testament.
