Gerry Cooney winning by knockout in 3 rounds or less. This guy is one of the most powerful one-punch KO artist in his time. He'll surely outgunned early on the 'Ali-move-a-like' but not 'Ali skill-a-like' Greg Page.
Cooney just got unlucky that during his prime, the heavyweight champion is the great Larry Holmes or else he should crown himself as heavyweight champion of the world.

Greg Page would have jabbed and ducked his way through the first 4-5 rounds and then he'd start to run out of gas (he was never in very good shape). Once Cooney started to find his range and Page started to slow down, he'd start connecting with his usual assortment of bombs. By round 7 it's all over, with Page being counted out as Cooney relaxes in a neutral corner.

Both were at one time promising fighters. Cooney was rushed into fighting Holmes and should have had several fights against contenders before fighting him so I think his career was mishandled. He had good power and actually a pretty good boxer. Page had fast hands but also carried them too low and was lackadaisisal at times. I think Cooney knocks him out in 10 rounds.

I like Page's chances, Cooney was a heavy hitter, but nothing special. Page wasn't much better, but Greg was good enough to beat Gerry.

Page would knock Cooney out cold within 5. Page hit to hard and was just too mobile for t he lumbering 1 dimensional Cooney.

I think they both were over hyped fighters, page being compared to Ali and cooney to marciano. If they fought make that if they felt like fighting, I wouldn't pay to see it but perhaps would watch it when it came on the comedy network. But being serious if cooney catches page early with his power the fight is over otherwise they both run out of gas and it's a draw. The question is who would want to pay to see it.

Cooney. Greg Page was a highly touted flop! Holmes said Cooney was his toughest fight ever.
