right now i have longish hair (up to my chest and kind of layered) with side bangs. should i keep that or try something else?

Chinese (Oriental) women "always" look good with straight black hair at around shoulder length. If you have any sense, you'd get it back to it's original condition and once it reaches just below your shoulders, keep it that way. The chinese men may think it's a bit common but you will look so good to men of all other races. Chinese men will get jealous of the attention you receive from other races and will be at your beck and call. You'll look good and natural is always best for any woman.

I would keep the side bangs, but angle them a bit more. They should hit right at your cheek. Also, go for a lot of layers. Side bangs and layers help to add movement and width to your face. As for the small eyes, mascara works wonders. Since you probably have brown eyes, try a black mascara that volumizes. Add extra mascara to the outer lashes to create an illusion of bigger eyes.

I had the same problem just last week and i decided to get a perm.I really love it , it looks great with long layered hair!! Hope this helps!!
