Jews don't.
Santa Claus is another name for St. Nicholas (from Scandinavia,) a Christian bishop.
St. Nicholas started putting gifts in children's shoes at Christmas time and somehow the tradition of St. Nick began.
Jews don't go around defaming Santa Claus. That's not part of their religion.
It's the parents of these spoiled children who, instead of believing in Santa Claus coming down the chimney with ONE present, they overloaded their brats with tons of gifts.
Sure, blame the Jews. Blame them for a tradition that is not theirs. Blame them for something that they have no concern about or involvement in.

Well I'm a Christian not a Jew and as a parent my husband and I chose to tell our children the truth about Santa Claus at an early age. It has not ruined their spirits about Christmas at all and we believe we actually saved them the heartache I experienced when I found out it was just a made up story. Though Christmas is not the real birthday of Christ, Jesus is the reason for the season at my house :0)

Because Jews dont celebrate Christmas. Its a Christian holiday and Jews do not regard Jesus Christ as God or uniquely divine.
While you might think that there is no harm in letting your children believe in Santa Claus until they run into 2 department store Santa's and are confronted with the truth thus being traumatized at an early age.
The greatest threat to Judaism does not come from without. It comes from the danger of assimilation. Letting your children accept Christian beliefs, even benign one such as Santa or the Easter bunny, is in a sense sanctioning their spiritual assimilation into Christian society.

What us "ruionlittle"?
Anyway, Santa Claus (not santa clase) is associated with Christianity, not Judaism. And, it is up to the parents and families of children how Santa Claus is introduced.
And, Santa Claus, is not Satan with the words switched around. Santa Claus is derived from Dutch folklore (Sinterklaas). Santa is a descendant from St. Nicholas, a Turkish saint, who is the Patron Saint of children.

Well, we've been blamed for a lot of things on R&S but ruining Santa Claus--that's a new one.
Dear, as far as I know we don't have a hit squad that goes out deliberately ruining children's fantasies. If they see us celebrating Chanukah instead of Christmas and a discussion ensues, you really only have yourself to blame for perpetuating a fairy tale.
