what doe she want us to invent, and why would we need to discover anything that he, supposedly, hasn't already provided the answer for?

Isnt it funny these GOd questions??
How come humans only believe in the concept of god? because they need something to believe in, in life and to believe there is something after life...
In turn this gives a false sense of Immortality which everyone desires but will never achieve.
Do Monkeys have a heaven? if no then it's not Gods creature correct? If they do have a heaven why aernt they aware of it and praying?
We invent things because we want to better ourselves as a creature of the earth and not because He or She wanted it.

We are called God's children (in the Bible). Let's say you don't choose to teach your child how to build a house from blocks. Instead, you provide the blocks and show her how to build a wall. Then, you point out to her that four walls make a house, but you don't build that house. Then, when she needs help to make the roof, you gently let her know that maybe the long, flat blocks would make a better roof that the short, fat ones.
You provide a picture of a brick house if she has never seen one. Then, you tell her all about the house where you grew up and how much you loved it there. You might even draw a picture of it for her.
In the end, every bit of knowledge, she got from you or from the world you chose to surround her with. So it is with us and God. Everything we know we have learned from him. And he doesn't just zap us with the knowledge because he knows it's much more fun to have us discover it for ourselves.

The old "why make a subservient being who can then fend for themselves" question...comes out many ways and it comes out often. Point being that the God theory of why we were created doesn't make sense unless this God is a selfish being who requires praise to feel good about them self...
If we were created by a supreme being, there had to be another purpose beyond simply being thankful. There is something that we don't know...and may never know until we pass on from this existence to whatever lay beyond.

God created MEN, he gave them the right to SIN, but if they SIN they die (the wages of sin is death).
So, we have the freedom of choice, but will be judged on what we choose.
GOD came back and gave us THE RIGHT TO BE FORGIVEN. He DIED ON THE CROSS to PAY THE PENALTY FOR OUR SINS.
If you believe your GOD died for your sins you have ETERNAL LIFE - else ETERNAL DEATH.
Why did GOD have to DIE AS CHRIST - GOD is a SPIRIT, HE must become a MAN to DIE FOR OUR SINS. CHRIST IS GOD THE MAN - ( THE SON).
