It's the nature of religion.

I like to ask questions like, "Which would you rather have, the return of Jesus or a bag of sand", and it is ASTOUNDING to me how seriously people will answer those questions. Tragic Typos asks questions that are hysterical, and meant to be buffoonish, but people will answer him seriously every time -- despite the fact that his screenname is TRAGIC TYPOS.

People are oblivious.

Use retarded spellings like:

EVILushun

...and ask REALLY stupid and short questions.

First of all, satire and sarcasm are, at least partially, in the delivery. It is very difficult to be satirical or sarcastic via e-mail.

Most importantly, don't stress over it. Half the goal is separating those who get it from those who don't.

Don't worry. Some people have no sense of irony or satire. It is funny for those who do to read the serious answers to satirical questions.

The problem is that in order to "get" satire one usually has to be intelligent and understand the context of the question.

Most people on here are morons, hence the serious answers.

The point of satire is subtlety.

post a warning:

the following question is satirical in nature. if you suffer from a lack of sense of humor, hemroids, or have your head so far up your butt that you cannot see this as humor, please feel free to move on to the next question. no animals were harmed in the asking of this question. not responsible for lost or stolen articles. no parking.

that should cover it.

Youre in the R&S section - no matter how stupid or crazy you make yourself sound, someone is bound to take you seriously, as they too hold bizzarre ideaologies.

Wanna make it more obvious? Go to another section that isnt based upon fantasy and myth.

Satire is a very difficult undertaking these days, in which people take themselves and their opinions so seriously. People are somehow convinced lately that if they're offended, they must be right.

hmmm well to be honest, your questions sound too sincere. Except for the stamp collecting one lol...

Try to exaggerate a little more, use all caps on some words...etc etc.
