is baby spinach in sealed pack suitable for eating raw.if not why please

It is absolutely safe. It is prewashed. The benefits of eating it far outweigh the risks. Incidentally, and don't let this scare you. The contaminated spinach from before was actually IN the plant. Even washing would not have removed the e-coli. If I remember correctly it was a result of water washed down from a pig farm. That may not be entirely correct but I am sure it is what I remember.

Absolutely. The spinach in the sealed packs are triple-washed. The incident a few months ago was due to a freak accident. You can't avoid spinach the rest of your life due to one accident.

It's totally safe now. I buy those pre-washed bags a lot. I eat it raw on sandwiches and put it in cold pasta salads. In fact it's better raw because the nutrients don't cook out.

Yes it is but u should make sure u wash it with soap and water 1st.

Sure it should be, but they had a little ecoli scare not too long ago but I think they cleared that up....just wash it and dry it......
