For me it is SAURKRAUT. I moved to Germany as a teenager and discovered good tasting saurkraut. I hated it as a kid.

As crazy as this sounds, I hated chocolate and peanut butter. If I ever ate a candy bar I would pick off the chocolate before eating it. Now I love good chocolate and about any kind of candy bar. I also adore peanut butter. I still dont care for the 2 of them together but seperate, love em.

Veggies. The only veggies I used to eat as a kid were string beans, corn on the cob and potatoes. Now I can eat any vegetable with gusto.

Broccoli. I used to throw it under the table and let the dog eat it, now its no big deal.

Avocados. As a kid, hated them. Now, ill put them on anything and everything.

Spinach for me too. Mom used to serve creamed spinach and I'd gag. Now I love raw spinach, or cooked spinach. As long as it's not creamed!

polenta. my mom would make big batches of it and serve with a drop of spaghetti sauce....she always said to eat up because it fed the roman army. love it now- maybe the roman army message put me off. funny how our tastes change...

ONIONS!! I used to pick them out of anything (no matter how small they were) and now I know that they are the base to almost any main course. . . I can't live without them in my cooking!

I hated fish- any kind. Now, it's one of my favorites- especially when going out- I want to know what the fish is and usually get it.

Collard greens (I was always the last one at the dinner table-after everyone was settling in for bed I threw them in the trash). My mother would ask me did you finish your greens? I would say YESSSSSSSSSS!

Round steak. Grew up on a farm and seems like thats all we had, now I like it.
