Uhm. NO. You should not put a cat down people he/she pees on the floor.
The vet wont let you put a cat down for that reason!
They'll take him off of your hands before they dare put a kitty down for that.
I recomment you
#1. Get him fixed if he's not already
#2. If you dont have a litter box, GET ONE
#3. Clean the litter box everyday, if your not already.
#4. Purchase a cheap spray bottle, fill with water and spray the kitty when you see it potty on the floor.
#5. If he looks like he's in pain then get him to the vet ASAP.. it could be something serious.
If you can't handle this then recomment you taking you cat to a local animal shelter so someone else can take care of him.

Of course not. You need to train him. Spend time training him to use a litter box. Also get a cat carrier and use it to cage train him. It should have enough room for him to stand up comfortably. By confining the area you will have more control. Cats don't want to poop and pee in their box. But make sure you pay attention to him and when he needs to go take him to his box. Use the bathroom not the kitchen this way you can close the door so he can't go anywhere else. Also litter boxes in the kitchen are disgusting. Eventually he will learn where his box is and you can allow him more space. You can move the cage into the bathroom and shut the door on the bathroom but leave the cage door open. He will then see the cage as a retreat he can rest in.

The scent has probably soaked into the wood and could be close to impossible to absolutely get rid of it - meaning the cat will shop returning. there are various products on the marketplace to deter cats to apply an analogous spot, yet they do no longer constantly artwork nicely if the previous urine crystals have not been bumped off already thoroughly. Is there an option to place a bite of fixtures on the spot?

No way! That would be totally mean! If he's just a kitten he's probably never been house trained and doesn't know any better.
Anyway, whatever his age, he just needs house training and needs to learn to use the litter tray. Just put some time into helping him instead of just choosing to end his life!

What did the vet say when you took him because he was pooping and peeing all over?
Oh, you haven't taken him to the vet yet. Try that, he could have a medical problem that can easily be corrected.

Chat with your vet - there are probably some behavioral issues going on. Some factors to consider, is he the only cat in the house, are there outside cats that come around, is he nuetered, etc. There are kitties have that "mental issues" just like in people. He could also be responding to behavior in you that he doen't like - ie does he do it after he gets scolded? There are meds for mental kitties

Whats wrong with you?? You don't mean putting down, you mean killing the cat for a behavioral problem. How about trying to research and correct the problem instead of killing your cat. You made a lifetime commitment when you got this animal. It;s a life goddammit not a material possession

I don't think you should put him down! I think that you should try to train him not to to that. Put some newspaper down where his usual spots are. When he does do it, flick him on the nose (that's a great way to train him). You constantly have to show him that it is bad. Eventually, he will stop. Good Luck :)
