you probably need to get with the prescribing doctor and let him know your meds are not helping at all... just because you're taking one, doesn't mean it's helpful... sometimes we need to switch meds.

i hope you will do that hon?

please see the website below for help with suicidal thoughts, if you'd like...

the second site is a mental health forums whose membership is entirely made up of those who have mental illness.... we are small, supportive and caring.. consider it if you like.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time -this is indeed serious. If you have not already called your therapist and told them it is an emergency, then please do so immediately. If your therapist still does not make an emergency appointment for you to come in, then its time for a new therapist. Fast!

It sounds to me like your current meds are not working and its time to look at something new. If you feel you are in real danger of doing harm to yourself, call someone! There are suicide hotlines in all major towns and cities, call Infoline, 211 to get contact info. Call anyone you can to give you support right now to get you through this rough patch. If need be, call your doctor to be checked out in case there is a physical component to this which requires treatment.

Worst case scenario, get to a hospital where you can be evaluated and appropriate treatment can be given to keep you safe. Don't give up!

well, you can call the fire department, goofy I know, but they can take you to the emergency room and you can go into the mental health ward at least overnight. The doctors and therapists there can help you immediately.
calling 911 will do the same, but they'll just send the fire department anyway. And btw, you might want to unlock the door for them, they will break it down to get in if they have to.
I hope this helps. But you've taken the first step by talking to us. Now take the next. Call your local FD for help.

Call your local mental health center - they usually have some sort of crisis line. Talk to someone there. Call the Dr that you get your antidepressants from, sometimes the medication can cause you to feel suicidal. If you don't get answers from them do the research on the Internet and find as much information on the meds you take, go to them informed. Its your life take charge and start living!

First of all, I think you need to call a family member, friend or someone you feel very close to. Do you go to church? Right now you need to pray to God for strength to help get you through whatever is going on in your life. God answers prayers and he is always there for you. Just have faith. Please don't do any harm to yourself! Call 911 or the suicide prevention hot line @ 1-800-784-2433. Hang in there!

If you really think you're going to kill yourself and you don't really want to kill yourself but just want some help, then call 911 or a suicide hotline that will probably call an ambulance on you.

If you really just want to die, go ahead. It's your right, but if you really did just want to die, you wouldn't be posting this question.
