Is it true that once you take birth control it is harder for you to get pregant, what are the major and minor side effects of birth control...

Some doctors will say it may take longer....

however, it is case dependant! every person is different!
I stopped taking birth control, and got pregnant the same month!!

side effects will depend on the type of birth control....biggest side effect is weight gain, or chance of heart attack...the heart attack is increased if you are over 30 and smoke...

It's not true. Birth control today doesn't have as much hormones as it once did. This is why if you miss 2 or more pills you can get pregnant. It's best to stop taking birth control a couple of months before you start trying for a baby so that your pregnancy can be accurately dated. I got pregnant the first time I tried after being on the pill for 7 years, and this pregnany it took me 2 months. 90% of women will conceive within 12 months after getting off the pill. The other 10% have fertility probelms not relating to the pill.
