Hi
I have 97 volvo 850 glt after driving for about 10 mins car would stall. Once it cools down for about 20 to 30 mins it will start up when u give enough gas. & crank it few times.
car has 115k miles, spark plugs were changed at 100k air filter looks good

check the wires for arching, check the cap and rotor for spark, check the fuel filter and fuel relay

offhand i would suspect a failing fuel pump but a temp sensor out of limits o this car can and wil cause oddball symptoms like stalling at idle [car will intermittantly go into a limp home mode when computer sees erratic tempatures] then if they stabilize for a few minuits it allows closed loop again
