Do you mean for the photographer or as far as when do do what for the months leading up to it? More details.
For the photographer, she wants the first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss--so that she can get all the big pictures before the 5 or 6 hours is up.
For the months leading up, there is a checklist in the back of modern bride that is great. tells you what to do at 12, 9, 6, 3 all the way up to the day of the wedding.

2:00 - ceremony
- then you go for photographs, have a chance for a rest, get to the reception location just before the dinner starts
5:30 - cocktails
6:30 - dinner
- followed by program, cake cutting about 8:15, dance would start about 8:30; late lunch maybe around 10:30, garter and bouquet toss...
