This question is pretty much irrelevant. Abrahamic religionists claim to know the truth with a capital T. Anything else is nonsense, or 'evil' or 'lies' to them.
So they think the humanity is 'confused' without accepting their God, their version of 'Truth' (capital T), no matter how little evidence, or how illogical their thought processes are, questioning it leads them ultimately to question the questioner. They honestly think if you don't believe what they believe, then you are doomed, stupid, confused, satanic, full of hate, in fact any negative thing they can throw at you; from pity to hatred and back again. Their fundamental belief is that if you do not Follow Their Faith Then You Are Wrong.
Unless, of course, you are speaking to Ex-Chrislims, who, for once, questioned their faith rather than the questioner.
If that makes sense... ;-)

It's pretty well documented that people who call others confused are confused themselves, often much more so rather than just a little more. That goes for both sides. I'm sorry that the world is so childish, emotional maturity would clear that up, but as you can see the world is not very mature, well, maybe the earth is. Really we aren't even out of the cave yet, Any other view is a delusion although I may exaggerate slightly. Think of how much there is to learn in the next even fifty years, I believe it's more than we can imagine possible. The Internet is exploding with new information daily and the pace is only increasing as more come on line. Just wait til we have a quorum. Check out 64 ebooks free at trans4mind. The titles sound good for the mind shift predicted. Then we should all be able to talk as if we were human. Can you believe they have the tech now to become human?

Actually it's quite a reciprocated relationship, as it typically is in all philosophies. One cannot take and hold all philosophies ever conceived. Some cancel others out. Some replace previous ones. Some, like Judaism, Christianity, or Islam don't allow for many other, if any other, possibilities to be true. Therefore if I believe in the God of Christianity and what has been written by the pro creators of our faith, then all who don't believe are merely confused. They have not yet understood.
The same would be true for Judaism. To them, we Christians are confused. We've taken scriptures and applied them to a man and called him Messiah. They look at these same verses and say, "No, that's what that's talking about."
So it's not just about Christians calling people confused, it's about any philosophy calling people confused. If any one does it, then there is no reason someone should be upset with one particular philosophy for doing it, since they all do. I've been called confused by Atheists and Jews. I don't take it personally. They haven't experienced what I have experienced. Heck, I haven't experienced what they have experienced. Maybe in another time, it would be me on the other end calling a Christian confused (i don't actually believe that, i'm just sayin...).
As for neutral and unbiased, there's no such thing. Everyone has cause or reason to want to find what they want to find. Let's say I am Hindu. A very, very devout Hindu. I have experienced many great blessings from the gods I serve. I begin researching Christianity to have a greater understanding. Now, because of my situation I have little reason to see anything of great value in this God who sent his son to die on a cross for me. My life is good. I have received many blessings from the gods I serve. What reason do I have to abandon them? My position isn't neutral because I already have a strong and grounded faith in something else.
Now, let's look at an Atheist. Atheism is the position that either affirms the nonexistence of gods, or rejects theism. You cannot be an Atheist and claim you are neutral or unbiased.
If you begin studying Christianity you do it for one of two reasons. First, because you are looking to prove it false. One Atheist tried this many years ago. His name was C.S. Lewis. Another was Lee Strobel, who wrote the book The Case for Christ, which is his reasons for why all should believe the evidence present. These people sought to discredit Christianity and became Christians. Most don't' experience this. They find what they are looking for. The say, "This proves there is no Jesus" and they write books on how it proves there is no Jesus, and then a Christian author disputes it. The second is the Atheist who is currently weak in their philosophy. They've experienced a lot of hardship and while researching are actually looking for reason to believe. Because they are looking for reason to believe, they find it.
This is the truth of all things. Unless it doesn't exist, you will find what you truly seek. There is always a bias, always a reason, and never neutrality. You lean a little in one way or the other or you wouldn't believe the things you currently do...

Mostly it's because most Christians don't like calling other people a horses butt... I mean really people like yourself who use a picture and specially a name that's inappropriate and offensive to all Christians for the sole purpose of offending them, why all the hate, if you want others to be tolerant then why not practice the same. I never see an objection to the word confused anywhere else. If you see someone standing on a corner looking around, you might say excuse me sir are you lost or confused. All humans are confused, no one has all the answers including you, or you wouldn't hide your profile from the public view you would share your knowledge. As for me I welcome any argument you have true science has only confirmed my beliefs for there is only one truth, don't be scared of it, non believers bring on your arguments but don't insult my religion just because you have no credible argument on your own. if you only believe facts then share them stop throwing stones at mountains.
dude if you don't want answers don't ask questions put on a shirt and join the real world. and I can't figure any reason someone would stalk you, you hide your answers probably because your wishy washy on your answers, of course you can prove me wrong, if you can.and I personally only use the word confused to be nice I think homosexuals is an abnormality and people who claim to be bi sexual are stark raving mad by being completly obsessed with sex at the cost of everything else in their life.and I know what I believe its availible as free reading and the link is on my profile I don't fear stalkers or anyone else, and I say what I mean.and yea I say a lot about people like you........comeback.

I am a Bisexual Christian, and it depends on what you are talking about on whether or not I am confused about something. I do not claim to know it all.
I think that there is evidence that Homosexuals and Bisexuals are picking up on what many Christians are doing. Those Christians that can't seem to help themselves when they talk about Homosexuality seem to have abandoned to Gospel for condemnation. I think that they are being disobedient to Christ when they do that.
The fault is greater upon those that teach those kinds of Christians. They are being set up with a message that I can only attribute to the devil. ( yes, I believe that the devil exists too).
So while they are dissing Homosexuals, they are actually turning their back on the Gospel, the message of grace and peace through Christ.
I think that you pick up on it, but perhaps aren't focused upon the real truth in the Bible at the same time. The message in the Bible is NOT what those Christians are telling you. In fact, all they are telling you is that they too are confused. You are right to judge it as such.

i'm a christian and i don't think anyone is confused. I believe in God and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior but just because i've done that I don't expect everyone else do. I'm the last person that wll shove my beliefs down you're throat because who am i to say that my religion is the right one? i don't believe that others are confused just different and i like diversity..with non christains i choose to stay away from the topic of religion because i realize that we'll just agree to disagree especially with homosexuals yes it is stated in the Bible homosexuality is a sin but i have a ha rd time believing that these people wouldn't be gay if they could help it it's difficult being gay in todays society...similar to how it was being black in the 1920's...they're denied many rights and are looked down upon if it was a choice from them i'm sure they would of chosen to be straight because most people want to be accepted

Everyone's confused, not just atheists and Christians. Trying to decipher fact from fiction in this world is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. All I know, is if you believe or don't believe, it's completely up to you and yes, study, study, study, if you aren't sure. If something is true, there's no fear of it being turned up false . . . ya know? But if a long held belief turns out to be based in untruths, then you have a way out. Either way, researching things is a good idea.

People ARE confused without God.
We can read statistics or any facts ANY way
our hearts desire to make us feel better.
We can easily "talk ourselves" into things and
just as easily "talk ourselves" out of things.
We can come up with only a few facts that
work in the end and skip most of the meaning
of life. Gaining a few facts does not equal
gaining full knowledge, understanding,
wisdom. Set yourself free from your
obtuse pseudo-self-sufficiency.
Only then will you begin to understand
how lame humanity is and find God.

Your discription is factual, it discribes a multitude of acts that ultimately mistreat others because the action of loving others puts the one initiating the action at a disadvantage. You know, the action of bareing ones soul? Few practice such actions because it seems Jesus was killed for it, however he wasn't, it just seems that way to the people who believe their satisfaction is what God judges. Since you by nature have to question what isn't really of Gods love, please work at breaking down that satisfaction, kindly, because the confusion is the veil and while only God can remove it, we can make holes in it by our understanding.

I like that..."neglect to take information from various sources".
Be brave...go tot he library and check out the three books I've listed below...those are "outside" sources...written by men who were atheists setting out to "make a decision after gathering and analyzing the information."
