Im planning a trip to Shea stadium but don't know too much about NYC. (I'm from down south) Anybody reccommend any good, not dirty, hotels near Shea? Or maybe a hotel in the city thats not too difficult to get the the ballpark from? I just don't wanna get lost or spend a fortune on a hotel. Help Please!!!

You can actually do a quote for hotels and sort the ones with available rooms based on their distance from the stadium!

Go to http://www.resideo.com/us/newyork/newyork/ and click the "Check Availability" button. Choose your dates, submit the form, then, when the results display, choose "Shea Stadium" from the 'distance from' dropdown -- that'll put them all in order, with closest hotels first, and will show you how many miles away they are.

You can then read about each, view pics & book online.

Hope that helps..good luck, and have fun!

Shea Stadium is very easy to get to from midtown Manhattan by Subway so virtually any hotel in the city would work. There are also hotels that are by Laguardia Airport that are physically closer to Shea but you would probably have to take a taxi.

There are hotels in Bayside and Flushing, right next door to Shea Stadium. Ramada and others.
