It depends on your digital camera. There are different types of USB connectors.
The most common cable is the Mini USB (plug into your camera) on one side and the other a regular USB plug (to your PC):

Some Kodak digital cameras use this type of cable (smaller than the above):

Also note that some cables are not usb 2.0 compatible, which basically means slower transfer rate than usb 1.0.

There are some (in step with risk 3) categories of connectors a USB cable could have. maximum cameras use the comparable variety of connector so as that they are in many circumstances conventional. If the connector in this new digital camera is diverse you may bypass to a small, privately owned pc save and get a cable for approximately $10. do no longer purchase it at field shops as they have an inclination to value you $25 for the comparable cable.

I lost mine too. My camera had to have a mini usb, so I went to walmart to look for a new one. They had a adapter set that had a regular usb, a mini one, and a few other things. It was about 15 dollars. I have used it for other things as well. It is very helpful because you can replace your camera cord and all those other cords with the kit.

Its only in the stores according to walmart, but I am sure you can find it somewhere else as well. It says 4.98 here, but I bought mine a year and a half ago it was 15. Either way, its pretty cheap.

u dont need a usb cord if u lost it just buy the card reader whis is less expensive and faster to transfer your pictures to the computer card readers are up to 15-20 dollars and its very easy to use just put the memory card inside the card reader connect the card reader to ur computer and ur all set :] if u chose the usb cord i suggest u to bring the camera to closest retail store cause usb cords are such a hassle youll need to find one that will fit into ur camera and they are very expensive they are about 30-40 dollars
