Well, for a time we will spend time in heaven until the end of the world.
After that, we will be on New Earth, and there will be a New Heaven. That is where we will be spending eternity with God who created us to walk and talk with Him. There we will have a city measuring 1400 x 1400 x 1400 miles. There will be 12 gates which are always open . . . . to what? I don't know. But I have a feeling that I am going to find out!
I think that I will be praising God there, and doing things for him and others around me. We are supposed to be in training for that now.
But as you asked while in heaven? Well, Revelation says and Daniel says; that we will be tending to God and praising Him there. Since God doesn't need any of that, we will just be doing it for His pleasure, that's what He likes.
Of course, we will be in the company of every Christian that has ever lived. Apparently we will recognize them. Also, there will be numerous angels. The other creatures which are present are supposed to be fantastic to look at, and probably really cool to wonder about.
I have had an out of body experience. It was just for a moment. What I experienced was something that was not boring. The perception that I had for that moment was nothing like being in this body, it was mind opening, stimulating, and my awareness was nothing like I could imagine before I had it. I suppose there will be that experience times a million in heaven.

Aside from praising God all the time, I'd say we'd have some sort of administrative duties to perform in the new Heaven and new Earth, for Revelation 1:6 says in part that we would be set up as "....kings and princes...." with Him.

Perhaps, if it even exists that it's more like you're own personal heaven, where what you want is there, family, friends, lost loved ones.
Not something that I've ever really thought about.

Well it is the spirit world!
and you will leave behind ALL your material possessions.
No TV, cinema or DVDs
No computers, consoles or handhelds.
No alcohol, food or drinks.
No gossip, news, books, or entertainment.
No transport, cars, bikes or skateboards.
So what is left?
Singing the praise of your God for eternity!
LOL
I am pleased I will not be going there!

Nothing to do as a jail. Nothing can be changed. No job, no hope, no more interest as we did it many time. No die, no life. Only sleeping and eating. The fun you did a thousand time will change to torture.
