Im getting braces tomorrow?

Question

could anybody tell me the whole process? how long does it take? and does it hurt? i go to dr.sturrup out of longview

so..actually getting the braces on takes about an hour. first they have to glue all the brackets on, then they put two wires in. one on top and one on bottom. after that they put rubber bands on the brackets over the wires to hold them in. now for the hurting part..ummm..the first time they're tightened(aka when you first get them on) it'll hurt a little..you won't be able to eat for a few days..but the pain moves around your mouth after the first day or so, so you can chew on the side that doesn't hurt haha umm after that everytime you get them tightened it will still hurt just not as much, because your teeth are getting straighter and you're getting more used to that kind of pain (another reason it might hurt more the first time..you're not used to that kind of pain). but when they actually put the braces on it doesn't hurt at all..

you're on your wayy to a beautiful smileee =] and it'll be worth it.

umm no not at first
but a couple of hours yes it does hurt
and where i go the stuff that they GLUE them on with
taste horrible
and i forgot how long it took
not forever though

They don't really hurt, maybe a little uncomfortable after they tighten them. But you will look so much better and you are so lucky you have that option.

it takes like an hour and no it doesnt hurt at all in less your a wimp
