Ethnic groups tend to stay together within this country. Even we Irish do that, and we're White people who speak English.

I not think it matter. Where I live there many Mexicans and Asians. Not to mention Polish, Dutch and German etc., that been here so long people think they were born here. One guy I know is from South Korea, his English is better than most Americans. One day I ask, and he been here from when he was 3 years old, no wonder his English so good.
There are areas that have stores that sell foods and stuff that pertain to the ethnic groups, but, the people live everywhere and work everywhere. Many have their own businesses.

No, despite what you read on the postings, most Americans are normal. It may be easier to assimilate into the culture if you relocate to a city that has an Asian culture but you should be fine either way.

Why would you want to move to a new country (ANY COUNTRY) and "stay close to your ethnic group"? If you don't want to assimilate with the citizens of the country you are moving to, stay in YOUR country.

You use the word "IF", along with the balance of your question which clearly means you have not yet entered the US...You have been a member of Answers U.S. since may/07,and even tho you say your an "Asian", your manner of expressing yourself along with your vocabulary would cause most to think you are fabricating your question because you think viewers are stupid...

Up to you.

You'd be welcome in the wider country, and typically assimilation leads to greater success. However, the Asians you meet when you get here will tell you that. They are pretty good at it, actually.
