Please stop claiming that your current Pope was "Forced" or "Conscripted" into joining the Hitler Youth, okay? Look it up yourself if you don't believe me when I tell you that is NOT TRUE. In fact, nobody was FORCED to join the Hitler Youth.

There were many benefits to joining the Hitler Youth that others didn't receive. That isn't "forced". That isn't "conscripted".

Your current Pope himself ADMITTED that the reason he joined is because he wanted to get into the very best School in Town. You had to be Hitler Youth to get in.

That is not FORCED. That was a CHOICE.

The Jewish Virtual Library states that Hitler Youth membership was made compulsory for youths over 17 in 1939, and for all over the age of 10 in 1941. NO! Catholics will not stop claiming Pope Benedict was conscripted into the Hitler youth and then the german army. To claim otherwise is to embrace a lie.

So what? Who cares what a kid's motives were for joining Hitler Youth or Cub Scouts or Little League?? What possible relevance can any such juvenile activities have on real life as an adult??

Even if this is true what does it prove or infer? The Pope is or was a Nazi or a Nazi sympathizer big deal he was a child. People are acting like he was at the "extermination" camps.
Everyone who wants to condemn this man for a childhood "mistake" needs to look at their own past before the judge him and as Jesus said "let him that is without sin cast the first stone". No I'm not Catholic or any form of Christian, And no I'm not a Nazi.

I don't know much about the Pope Benedict's history. I haven't studied him much, but I will say this...."Let he among you who is without sin...."


And by the way dr schmitty, Hitler wasn't Christian. And if he said he was Christian that does not make it so. If I claimed I was black does that mean I am indeed black? We are Christian by what we do, not by what we say.

That is the beauty of christianity and your god isn't it. If you ask for forgiveness, you will be granted.
