They are humans every bit as much as us.

It is the religion they were brainwashed into by other brainwashed people that deserves the real blame and should take the punishment for the crime that is committed.

Sadly our politically correct society won't do that.

People are humans no matter what they do. Perhaps some people do acts so horrible that they do not deserve to live among humans or even live at all.

People should not label a religion as a terrorist religion only if it is not a terrorist religion. Otherwise you could create a religion about terrorism and escape the appropriate label based on this idea that it cannot be terroristic since it is a religion.

Terrorists usually do not label themselves as terorists anyway. They see their causes as just and their acts as honorable. It certainly seems as though many terroristic acts have been influenced and spired by beliefs gained from Islam. That does not necessarily mean that Islam itself is terroristic. People are sometimes inspired in the wrong way by things that are not intended for harm. Looking at the Quran, however, does leave room for doubt considering its many verses promoting and praising hatred to and separation from people who are not Muslims as well as the repeated declataions of Allah delighting in the punishment of those who oppose him. Those this may not be specific instructions for creating terrorism, it certainly does include many ingredients that can lead to terrorism.

I agree with part B: we shouldn't go around calling any religion a "terrorist religion" because of what a few foam-at-the-mouth fundamentalists do.

Part A, though, I don't agree with. As heinous and awful as they are, terrorists are still human beings: very base and selfish human beings, but they are still our brothers in Christ.

The minute you start labeling some people as "not really human" or "subhuman" you open the door for what happened in Nazi Germany. It makes it that much easier to call others subhuman too: anybody who doesn't agree with you.

The so-called Christian fundamentalists are trying with all their might to do that to gay people today.

How incredibly foolish! I would bet my last penny that the main reason you think religion is bogus is BECAUSE you were raised Roman Catholic. Try just letting your kids grow up normally, go to a regular school, and meet people from all different beliefs. Give them a Bible...alright, a Catholic Bible, if you must, and let them read it for themselves. Chances are, they will make good decisions for themselves. They might even have a chance to get to know the real God...a chance you didn't have as a child.

Of course they're humans. Humans are the only ones that do that kind of thing. Animals don't.

You've left out people who do terrorism NOT in the name of religion, like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. Those are much bigger numbers. What's up with that?

Second part of your question. Individuals and groups that commit acts of terrorism often claim a relationship with one religion or another, but their acts belie the sincerity of that association.

The problem is they are followers of man not God. They practice a "religion " they do not have a faith. The sins they commit appear more horrific than some that we may commit, however sin is sin and we are told if we are guilty of one we are guilty of them all. Yes "politically correct" is going to be the downfall of the west, time to wake up and call these things for what they are.

That's the point, none of us are fit. We all have done horrible things and hurt other people.

All religion, other than the Jewish religion, which is made by God, is made by man and is man’s attempt to please their gods and control other people .All religions have rules, rituals and laws to follow. Every religion believes that they have the answers for redemption. The answer for redemption through religion, lies within man’s ability to perfectly follow it’s teachings which man can not do. Jesus is the only one who followed religion perfectly.

Jesus is God’s way to reach down to mankind with love, forgiveness, acceptance and grace. Jesus is not a religion. He is God and He is the way for man to have fellowship with God.

When we come to Jesus, we are full of the original sin nature and the sins that we have committed. He cleanses us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and repent of those sins.

Our redemption and salvation results from Jesus’ willful and sacrificial death on the cross to take our place for our sin nature and our sins. He is the only atonement possible because He is without sin. Jesus does it for us because we are incapable of following any religion perfectly. He did follow the law perfectly.

Coming to Jesus, not religion, is what God requires for us to become forgiven, sanctified, and have the personal relationship with God that He intended from the start. Jesus is the only way to God.

Who cares what they're called ? It's the seventy-two beautiful black-eyed virgins that count.
Just think what a beautiful place paradise will be with seventy-to wives nagging, fighting, critizing, accusing, demanding, gossiping. I can't wait.

I think violence is quite a normal human trait. We are only lucky that some humans are better than that.
