They are for breast feeding.
And I have had two different theories for this obsesion.
One: Girls with bigger breasts tend to look more feminine. Guys like curves, and boobs come with them. Some one said to me "If I wanted to date someone who was flat chested, looking like a 12 year old boy, I would date a 12 year old boy."
Two: Woman with bigger breasts can provide more to their offspring. It's a primitive instinct for men to obsessed over boobs.

My Dream girl would have small Boobs, a fine behind,a cute face and no Brains at all.I don't think I'm asking for too much?
Why is it every time a girl meets a guy she likes always has to ask "What kind of Job do you Have?,How much money do you make? What are your plans for the future?" are women today looking for a sugar daddy?
I know I can't tell the woman the truth when I'm asked these questions.I'm 32, I work at a Gas Station,I live at Home and my future plans are paying off my credit card bills.I just lie my tail off.I work at a computer company,I make a lot of money,my place is being redecorated and I can't have any visitors.

I'm not obsessed with them, but many are, but in that type of guy's defense they are more than just two lumps of fat. With the human species the only thing that is prominently different between a male and a female are the breasts, yes this can be changed just like any other part of the body, but its a little more difficult.

I think the best way to put it is that they're an obvious sign of womanhood. We're attracted to the opposite sex regardless, and breasts just make you stand out in a crowd.
Myself, I don't vest so much in those 'lumps of fat' as I do in the mind. But if I had to express a size preference, I'd say... B or C, a handful is all you really need for most.... 'fun'. Savvy?

Not OBSESSED, but I really do like they way the bounce or just sit there or let me know how cold it is, or hide their feelings or look fake but are not or try to stay squeezed into a bikini or look like a second timester pregnancy but its not an obsession, nope not at all.
Size does not matter to me, no two sets are alike and are just an enjoyable part of life. Fake boobs suck though!

My boyfriend LOVES mine (they are D's) I think its personal preference though.
If you notice, the size ranges a lot in all of the answers!
But I think that guys are so obsessed with boobs because thats what is learned from tv shows and movies - that boobs are so great... lol but not evryone feels that way.

Why are YOU obsessed with whatever YOU are interested in on a guy?
How old are you, anyway? Breasts are a part of sex. Anything that has anything to do with sex is naturally going to interest guys. Didn't you learn (in school or from experience) that breasts have sensitive nerve endings that make them part of the sexual act? Factor in the fact that this is the one part of your body directly involved in the act of sex that is generally visible when you are clothed, and the reason guys obsess with them seems pretty obvious, doesn't it?

Bigger the better. But not too big that you might suffocate. Although, that is good way to die, if you have to die.
Obsessed because we don't have them. If I did, I would never leave my house. I would just sit in front of the mirror and play with them all day.
ps. Every guy here that says B or C is best, just hasn't had the pleasure of DD. So much to play with, so little time...

The biggest reason is that they differentiate women from men. That is, they are a clear sign of gender.
They also show the potential for fertility.
In any case, obsession with the female body is required for the species to survive. That is, if the male approached first communication the way the female does, we wouldn't reproduce fast enough to exceed (or equal) the death rate.

Are ALL men obsessed with boobs ?
Not me , I hate those girls that approach us men with them flapping in the wind as if to say " here I am guys, all boobs and nothing else to offer "
As for the size..... Small ones please... Anymore than a handful is a waste.
So to divert this question back to you girls.... Why do you always presume that ALL men like large lumps? , If we did we would date a camel.
