In my previous question I asked why God hadn't healed amputees. Since salamanders can easily regrow limbs, shouldn't this be fairly easy for God to accomplish? Several people assured me that god will heal amputees.

Since, in the history of humanity, there are millions of amputees, can you please point to one documented case in which an amputee has regrown a limb? Thanks!

And Jesus resticking an ear on a soldiers head is neither an amputation nor documented.

I "amputated" the hair on my legs the other day, and it grew back....(guess I'll have to amputate it again)

The ear story has been documented in the bible ever since the bible was written. What do you want? A Picture?

Amputees have been healed. Smith Wigglesworth through the power of Christ healed amputees. A man's amputated foot was regrown. That's just one.

God cannot heal amputees because the severed limbs are already burning in hell waiting to be joined with the rest of the body.

Ive had a lot of miracles in my life and Ill tell you about the one that still gives me goose bumps and make me cry. Its not about a amputee but it almost became one.
My daughter was 7 months old when we switched to using dial for our hands. Within a 8 week period my daughter was in our local hospital with a 104.7 fever. We couldnt break it and she was getting worse by the minute. The nurse found a hot spot on her hip and the doctor rx a abcessed cellulite infection. Antibiotics were started and she made no improvement. Her fever climbed higher to 106.Cultures showed a new unknow super bacteria. She was transfered a hour away to a childrens hospital by medivac and placed in full quaratine. The cdc was called in and she was started on linezolid. No effect. The mass of puss and infection moved into her hip bone and water sac and the flesh began to cave in. Then it hit her blood. They gave her three days to live unless they could immeadiate cut out the infection insurgery. Part of her hip bone was soft and basicaly falling away. We signed the papers and hoped for the best. At 10am she was taken for a ultrasound. It showed a softball sized mass of infection on the hip joint. At 2pm we had her baptised and blessed. We gave her fate into gods hands. at 6pm a mri was performed and she was sent to the preop area. As they put her out for surgery the surgeon comes running in. Its gone its gone. Theres nothing there. What did you do. What ??? We told him. We baptised her. Blood test showed a white cell drop in the thousands and my baby girl came home from the hospital that night for the first time in a month. 6 days in the local hospital and 22 days in childrens hospital. God gave me back my little girl. A soft ball sized mass reduced to a pea in two hours. Thank you god and thank you to the doctors together they saved my baby girl.

Well, I don't think this is beyond God's capabilities, though I have never personally seen it occur. The day may come when I do, infact, witness such a miracle.

But you don't have to worry about that, because YOU will never see it, because Jesus said "According to your faith, so be it", and you seem to have the faith to believe that God does NOT intervene in people's lives, or worse, that God isn't even there to begin with.

These types of things might actually be taking place in other parts of the world where revival is spreading, but - again - don't worry - it won't reach you. God won't force Himself on ANY body.

And if you DO happen to witness this kind of miracle, again, don't worry. You'll be like the kid on the outside of the playground looking through the fence at all the kids playing together. If the ball is thrown in your general direction (proverbially speaking), don't worry - the fence (the one you've built up around your heart) will stop the ball from ever reaching you.

Madam Pomfrey regrows Harry's arm bones when another professor accidentally removes them.

It's right in the book, so it's documented. Granted, it wasn't the whole limb, but close enough. I'm sure it was also documented in Hogwarts records.

God doesn't 'heal' amputees for a very GOOD reason ... so we can 'learn' about people who are not 'disabled' naturally but by 'accident or war' ... we can 'empathize' with them and with people with 'other abilities' and gain 'empathy' ...
God created man (and woman) in HIS OWN IMAGE ... which most people 'assume' means that God LOOKS LIKE a human. We don't 'know' that, though ... perhaps the 'image' of God is the 'soul' ... that 'thing' we can't see inside of all of us people ... and maybe we won't KNOW 'who or what' God is until after we die and go to 'Heaven' (God's universe) ... and that is when we will learn 'the rest of the story' ... why God created us, and what our 'job' will be after we finish 'school' here in this universe.

Why are you asking for second hand accounts to base your faith on? Why no go to the source and get the straight story?

There are plenty of documented cases of people spontaneously growing limbs, shedding cancers, gaining sight, and raising from the dead. However, unless you were standing in the room there is no reason you should believe them.

Its not up to us to create faith in you.

I'm sure that God could perform such a miracle -- afterall, he raised the dead. I don't know of any documented case, however. Of course, I don't know any documented cases of many things that could be miracles. Just because God has not done a thing, doesn't mean that he can't.

If I remember correctly, there is are records of young children regrowing the tips of their fingers. I think some people have had a their set of teeth or possibly had roots grow back in teeth that have had root canals. Sometimes nerves seem to regenerate in limbs.

But that's all I know.

Those miracles are too tough. The church likes miracles like someone being sick, when someone prays for him and he recovers-- - - IT'S A MIRACLE. Notice all the doctors, medicines, hospital help, surgeons, etc had little to do with the recovery. It was the prayer that did it.. A MIRACLE
