I know there is something not right with me, can anyone suggest any advice before I pester my doctor? My symptoms are as follows
- bad lower back pain, left side only. comes & goes but can be so bad it hurts to walk
- frequent urination & bright yellow urine
- quite thirsty, but would not say excessive
- headache, nausea
- recurrent thrush
- lower abdominal pain, left side only (have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and this could be due to that)
- heartburn
- taste of blood in mouth but no blood
- generally tired, run down, have a bad chest and a cold.

I came off the pill at the beginning of July after being on it for 5 years to ttc. I started bleeding 4/5 days before my period was due and it only lasted 2 days (browny red in colour).

It has now been 10 days since started bleeding, took a preg test on Sat it was neg. what could this be?? someone has said it sounds like diabetes.. but could it be because I have come off the pill.... any ideas?

It could be a lot of things. I think, it's time to pester your doc.
What are you waiting for? You need to be seen ASAP & have some test run. Everyone on Yahoo Answers would just be guessing.

Some of the symptoms sound like a kidney infection:
Bad lower back pain, left side only, etc.
Frequent, bright yellow urine (you could be dehydrated making the urine bright yellow).
Lower abdominal pain, left side only (but yes, it could be the IBS).
