You will have no record of a conviction, but the record of you being arrested and charged still exists.
In most states, after a certain "waiting period" (in MD it's three years after the court decision is rendered), you can file to have the record expunged. I would suggest doing that. While it's all well and good that you had your charges dismissed and don't have a criminal conviction behind this incident, in a manner of speaking, it's still on your record until you have it expunged.
Ask your lawyer about how to file the paperwork or just contact the clerk at your local courthouse.

Well if the lawyer said u have no record then u have no record but where i live if u r fined then u definately have a record and will show on a criminal record check when getting a job. As for the no income to pay the fine just call them and tell them exactly how much money u get from the government and they will most likely rearrange things so that u pay less but over a longer period of time

Yes, YOU STILL HAVE A RECORD. After the charge it is noted the disposition of the case. To have the charge removed you need to have your record "expunged." An attorney can do it for about $200. If you cannot afford it then call the local bar office and see if they provide free legal advice.
I recommend you do it, especially if you intend to apply for a job in the future involved in government or finance. Also, your better jobs will do a decent background check, so get it done.

No you do not have a record since it was dismissed. However, your fingerprints from your booking will always be on record. So if an employer runs a check on your fingerprints ( I think all schools do this now) it would show up that you were arrested but hte charges dropped. Hope this helps.

Yes. It will show up as an "Arrest" but there will be nothing under "Convictions" on your records. The only way to get the arrest off your record is to have it EXPUNGED. You can request that the court do this, through an attorney.

A criminal record usually shows arrests and will also give the disposition of the case.

There should be no record if it was dismissed. Misdemeanors don't count as felonies so it should be gone.
