Out of curiosity, is God Catholic or Roman Catholic? Is it the same God? Is one better than the other? Is one black, the other white? Does God split himself between the two?

It's just a known fact. The Holy Roman Church, The Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Church are all one and the same and are governed by the Vatican City in Rome, which itself is an Independent State. The Pope is the head.

Catholic means universal. There is more than one Catholic Church. In addition to Roman Catholic there is the Greek Orthodox, Coptic, Russian Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox and maybe a few more. All of them are Catholic and follow the beliefs of the Catholic Church. The difference is that the others are not Roman Catholic and do not have to follow the Pope. In addition their priests are not required to lead a celibate life.

Definition:
catholic -- universal; wide-ranging liberal
Perhaps you're thinking of the word orthodox, meaning the right path. There is the Roman Catholic Church in the West and many Orthodox catholic churches in the East -- Eastern Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, etc. with a wide range of beliefs.
The difference between Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic is that the East has always allowed many branches of the church, whereas the Roman Catholic Church exterminated "non-believers" as heretics. It was not until Martin Luther in the 16th century that Roman Catholics "allowed" any other beliefs to flourish.

In the US, Catholic and Roman Catholic are pretty interchangeable, since most Catholics in this country are Roman Catholic. If someone here says they're Catholic, people just assume they mean Roman Catholic.
There is one church in my area, though, St. Anastasia, that does specify that it is a Roman Catholic church on its sign. There is a somewhat large Eastern Orthodox population here, and they did not want people to assume the name Anastasia, which sounds Eastern European, made the church Eastern Orthodox.

The previous testomony tells us that throughout straight forward terms God is the real Rock and that throughout straight forward terms God can walk on the water. Peter potential "Rock", this nickname might have been blasphemous if mis-used. in straight forward terms God is the Rock. the only individual who might desire to grant Simon Peter that call without blaspeming grew to become into Jesus. Jesus named him Peter. the two Jesus and Peter walked on water, showing that Peter could be allowed to do such issues that throughout straight forward terms Christ grew to become into meant to do IF Christ facilitates it. Peter on my own grew to become into given "Keys to the dominion". however the different Apostles have been given particular authority. Is Isaiah, there's a passage on the subject of the King of Israel giving the "Keys to the dominion" (all authority on the subject of it) to a guy, if truth be told making that guy top Minister. Christ isn't basically alluding to it while he speaks to Peter, he's QUOTING it! After he rose, Jesus asked Peter to be chief Shepherd. The term 'Pope does not be around for genertations. Jesus set Peter the activity of because of the fact the Apostles taught reality. Scripture shows that Peter led the Church in making judgements. Christ is bearing on HIS Church the only that he grew to become into organising then. Peter grew to become into at its head. to no remember if all of us Denomination can declare to BE that Church demands a learn of ideals and of the historic previous of which Church left which interior the consequent centuries.
