my hair is naturally very straight, but I really want to try using mousse to make it more wavy/curly. How much mousse do I put in? Do I do it when my hair is wet? Also is there any other tips that would help make my hair anything but straight!! Please help

Put in your hair when it is semi dry then use a diffuser on your hair dryer set on low to scrunch the hair.

This is what I do at it works.
First when you wash your hair, leave the conditioner in for like 3 minutes, that keeps away the frizzies.
When your get out of the shower, put the towel over your head. When it's still reallly wet, but not sopping. Take a lot of mousse and just apply it generouslly and scrunch.

i use moose, garnier fructse(sp) and herbal essence i have rlly long hair and use like 2 quatersize dollops. 1st when u get out of the shower towel dry your hair but leave it pretty damp then get the mouse use half of the amount you want to and run it thruogh your hair (not right on your roots) then buy a curling product like a gel, i use something in a yellow bottle w/ a purple top then put some in your hand and run it through your hair at the same time from your ends p scrunch your hair then add the othr half of the mousse, you can let it dry naturally or blow dry but remember to periodically scrunch while its drying also to get more body lean over and dry your hair with the dryer pointed up towards our hair- not directly on it.
good luck and sorry about the spelling!

My hair is very straight can can't hold a curl if it life depends on it
I use L'oreal curing enhancing mousse, you can probably just use any curl shaping a waving making product at the drug store
Stay away from the sprays because here weak and can't support the wave or curl on are straight hair

This is whhat i do
On wet hair I apply the mousse then gnsrucnh hair
Then using a diffusser and srecnh the haie whilr your drying it
Lighty mist with hair spray if needed

I use a wonderful product that works so well for this It is called Laminates gel,by Sebastian. THey make 1000 products but only the clear gel. They sell if on ebay in 10.5 ounce tubes, the size helps me figure out the right gel. When I blow dry my hair a bit, then I put the laminates in my hand It doesn't take but about a bit and add a bit of water and then with wet/gel hands I scrunch my hair with my head upside down to give it fullness and it brings in any curl, but I have a slight perm. I don't think it will help absolutely straight hair, the sleek kind, but maybe you could check with a hair person and see about a very slight perm good luck I've been doing this for years and my hair person taught me. email me if needed

Put a little bit of mousse in your hair, while it's a bit damp and then use a diffuser to curl it...or you can just scrunch your hair with your hand..

this works so good....when you get out of shower, brush hair a usual, re wet hair again in sink (just the sides and back, using your hands) scrunch your hair and put mousse in it...keep scrunching, either let hair airdry while scrunching it or use a diffuser on the end of your blowdryer..good luck!

Another way to get it wavy is this:

1. Add gel to wet hair

2. French braid

3. Keep in overnight

4. Take out, brush through (more strokes=puffier)

5. Add some gel

confident you're putting too plenty on.. you additionally can get different kind mousse.. i take advantage of one that has organic conditioning in it, it would not overdry my hair and keeps the curls finding healthful remarkable and comfortable... (i forgot the kind call yet purely seem you will discover one) and maximum critically do no longer use too plenty purely use adequate to unfold all around your hair.. on the backside no longer the precise and in case you're putting it on dry hair then you certainly at the instant are not think to experience moist after putting (so no longer plenty)
