Probably not given the fact you displayed self-destructive behavior. However, if you are wanting to try the service again, you might be able to get a waiver if you can prove that you are not self-destructive and have matured more they may issue a waiver. This proof will take a few years of being a stable, productive member of society - i.e., attending college, work, etc. and excelling what you do without any further "disorder". It may also require you to see a shrink to provide the "medical" proof that you don't have a disorder. Your effort to get a change may also have to include a writing campaign to your congress critter and the VA to give you a waiver.

If you just want to get the code switched because it looks bad on your record, then you will probably not have much luck at all at fixing it.

I think the only thing that could possible hold you back from joining is the fact that your probably going to need a waiver and from my understanding the Army isn't accepting waivers nor taking prior enlisted at least until the next fiscal year But hey im just some dude on yahoo answers !!!!

I doubt it. You shouldn't have told your TI that you were going to kill yourself. Basic Training isn't that hard, so why you would tell them that, is beyond me.
Probably the only wany you could get in is if you got help, but even then, you might not get in. Try the Marines, they like crazy people. Army might take you too. Of course, their Basic Training is much harder than ours, so good luck, and my advice, keep your suicidal tendencies to yourself, at least until you get out of Boot Camp and tech training.

I doubt it, however, I have come to the conclusion that "All things are possible, even if not probable"
IF enough time has passed, an you have proven yourself to be stable in the community, there is still a "possibility"

Unlikely you sort of proofed yours self to be unstable in a challenging environment, that is not what they want, their view is you could lose it in a combat SIT. and that is dangerous.
