I found most of us have wierdly shaped sinuses and if you sleep on one side it will plug up but if you lay on the other side of your body it will help to open it up! Also use some good ol' Vicks vapo rub right up your nose! Just a tiny dab on the end of your finger works great for me! As far as the fluuse the Pepto Bismal ( at your doctors advise,) stay next to a big pot, alot of liguids ( especially the fruit juices but only if if you're not diabetic,) and then wait it out.

If a doctor diagnosed you with bronchitis, then he would have given you antibiotics and suggested Mucinex with decongestant.

If you self diagnosed because you have a "wet" cough... you should see your doctor to get the antibiotics and make sure you're correct.

I recently thought I had bronchitis, and it turns out it was pneumonia.

Sometimes the wet cough is nothing... just your body rejecting the mucus that has been breathed in due to sniffling.

I think Mucinex with decongestant would be the best remedy - but do check with your doctor please.

Lemsip honey and lemon sachets really help me. You just pour the sachet into hot water and stir - its that simple! as the packet says they help with blocked noses and flu. You can have different flavours if you want! a packet of soft tissues and plenty of rest.

Go to the pharmacy and get a bottle of saline solution. It's only salt & water and you spray it in each nostril. It only costs a couple of dollars or you can make it yourself at home.
