Dab some aborbine jr. on it. It works great for mosquito, and fire ant bites. Also very soothing for sunburn!

Dab vinegar on it. The acidity in the vinegar nullifies the venom from the sting. I just dealt with 26 stings after hiking in the Lake District. Darned mossies everywhere there. Popped into a supermarket and bought some vinegar, and it helped a lot. There are also chemical-based sprays and lotions that you can buy at the chemist shop but they're very expensive, and I've never found that they're more effective than good old vinegar.

There are alot of remedies out there but they all may not work for you. I'm Chinese so we have some medicines as well as the Western medicines you can buy at supermarkets or pharmacies. Some Western medicines I've used are a cream called Cortaid (comes in a tube) and calamine lotion like Caladryl (a pink liquid in a bottle). I think the Cortaid is more effective. The calamine lotion just makes you look funny with all the pink splotches on your skin.
The Chinese medicines I've used before are White Flower Oil and and cream called Mopiko. If you're near a Chinatown, any Chinese pharmacy or market should sell these products.
Next time you go out, remember to spray some Off! on your body and clothes to keep the mosquitoes away. =)

I always use aloe-vera, the plant is normally around when you get a bite and it's really effective. An old wives tale says if you take your thumb and press the nail into the bite twice (making a cross) the itching subsides.... it may work?

Actually if I am in a pinch put some spit on the bite and that will help for a while. Otherwise amonia will take the itch out for longer.

Think mine is the cheapest
rub it gently with the inside bit of a Banana skin (and you can still eat the rest of the banana)
In Thailand you can get this powder, it is like talc, but smells of menthol, it makes everywhere glow so you forget individual spots.
Banana is ok on the genitals, but dunner get the other stuff there

when your mosquito bite starts to itch just take your thumbnail and put an x over top. It works for me all the time, but if it doesn't work you can try the anti-itch lotion
