I've had bad diarrhea since yesterday (yeah, okay. gross.) and my stomach was all....not-feeling-good. cramps, I guess. I went to sleep & then woke up & vomitted in my trash can, then went back to sleep. aaand now this morning, I have diarrhea again, but my stomach's better. What's wrong and what will help?

maybe something you ate didn't agree with your stomach..this has happened to me before. eat lightly (think along the lines of saltine crackers, white rice, ginger ale), and drink lots of fluids. i find that sucking on ice or drinking ice water eases nausea. you might also wanna try swallowing a few tablespoons of flat coca cola. this also eases the nausea and stomach pains. the rice and crackers will help "harden" your stool, so it won't be diarrhea for too much longer. get plenty of rest & get well soon!! =]

Food poisoning, the flu, E-coli, and other things can cause these symptoms. The most dangerous part of this is becoming dehydrated and have an electrolyte imbalance which could be deadly. If you don't improve after three days, see a doctor. Gingerale, coca cola, gatorade, 7-up, white rice, jello, and lots of water will help in most cases. Saltine crackers help with the nausea. I would write down everything you ate within the two or three days of your becoming ill. If you ate at a restaurant, you might have gotten contaminated food and others might be sick as well. If you ate canned food or packaged food, it might be contaminated and you should try to check this stuff out. Most people just take these bouts of "flu" and "food poisoning" as routine but with so much contamination going on these days, it would be a good idea to go and have yourself checked out. You might be able to keep others from getting sick.

Hrm.. Could be a number of things.
-Is there a possibility of being pregnant? If not, it could be [but not limited to]: food poisoning, the flu, a virus, stomach parasite, appendicitis. If symptoms persist, get yourself to a medical practitioner.
Make sure you keep yourself hydrated by having sips of water, anything that will refuel your body and has electrolytes such as gastrolyte, gatorade. Ginger tea & ginger biscuits are 2 natural remedies can ease the nausea and vomiting. You can get OTC medicine at the drugstore called Immoduim that will help with diarrhea. Hope this helps and you get better soon!

It sounds like either a case of food poisoning or a stomach virus. The only thing you can do for it is stay hydrated by drinking as much water as you can and get some rest.

You should call your doctor. Could be stomach virus, food poisoning, any number of things. Best to be seen so you don't get worse. And make sure you're drinking plenty of water. The diarreah and vomiting are going to make you dehydrated. Feel better.

its either food poisoning or stomach / intestinal flu. drink gatorade or rehydration salts. you have to rehydrate fast before you start to puke again. if there are still problem after next day you might want to go to the doctor and get tested.
