Learn how to be a preschool teacher !
When I was a young mother I learned all I could about enriching my child's life , I made up games to play just for the fun of it (yes even with a tiny one) Memorized songs and rhymes for later on too.
At the time the UK had a series of books by Ladybug. Learning with mother.
You need something for you too. A walk to the park to talk with other mothers -arrange play dated 0even if you have an infant ,
its good for babies to have other children around and you and there mom can get acquainted.
Go to the library and explore a old interest or discover a new one . Choose a hobby that can be worked on and put down at a moments notice.
Find a skill that you can develop and use when you are able to go back to work... Good luck , Mommy

sure there are jobs you can do from home, but its really not worth it, u get taken advantage of from the get go.
I got into card making and jewellery making, its not alot but i make a little money from it each week too, if you have a local mum's N tot's you might be able to sell it there and make friends at the same time. I also spend alot of time on the computer though not as much durring the day now, its hard with an active 16 month old lol.

LOL, i felt exactly the same as you last year, so i decided to do something for my self, so i went back to college at an adult education centre. It gets me out of the house, and in adult company for 3 days a week, and the whole thing is free, including the childcare, as the college pays for it.
I would totally recommend it, its fantastic, it got my brain active after not doing anything for 11 years since i left school, and i met a bunch of lovely fellow students, many of whom are now good friends.

If you dont feel ready for that, then why not go to mother and baby/toddler groups, depending on the age of your kids. You can also go to the beach/park/swimming etc with them, there is lots to do with kids, no matter how old they are!

Only boring people get bored!! I have 2 boys 8 &9 and have always been at home with them & never been short of stuff to do.You've obviously got housework to do for a start, play with the kids outdoors/indoors,go see friends, mother & toddler groups, playgroups, parks, soft play areas, parks, arts & crafts, baking. If they are amusing themselves then read a book or paper, watch tv,ring a friend, there are sooo many things to do or can't you be bothered?

Oh my goodness! There are tons of things you can do? How old are you and how old is your child? I loved taking my kids for walks in the stroller. Or just taking them outside while I worked in the garden or yard. If you live in the city go for walks. Go to a park! Spend time with your children they grow up so fast!! Play games with them read to them! Believe me its not boring. I don't think there was one day I could say I was bored. If you spend time with your kids you will find in the long run it will be time well spent.

I am epileptic so I'm not allowed to go any where with out someone, always friend or family member. But me and my daughter do everything and go everywhere together, I try and not let my health problems control me even If we stay in there is always things to do. She is 22months old and she likes to help me clean up so, she has her own little hoover, and dust pan and brush. She enjoys it and so do I, even when I'm doing something simple like peeling potatoes I will give her 1 and a plastic knife and she copies me,she always has a smile because she thinks she is helping, just let your kids help you no matter what your doing (as long as its safe) Me and my daughter dance to the radio instead of watching T.V. So good luck and keep trying.

Im not sure of any in-home jobs you could do, but searching online is a good start. I am home 80% of the time, I try to stay outside playing with my kids as much as possible. I almost always have a friend or two with their kids over.

i have 4 kids aged 2,4,7,11.

My day consists of getting up bout 6 with the 4 year old.
Do the kids breakfast, housework, washing, ironing. lunch, dinner etc.
Normally in the afternoon i will take the kids to the park if it is nice or round to their nans. go in the garden with them while they play in the pool etc.
Or sometimes i have to sit and watch boring kids programmes with them.

i moved a couple of months ago so i also have to decorate in between sorting the kids so i dont get time to be bored,
