This is a very common condition that affects alot of people.

Medical:
You could have a condition, I'm not sure of its name, but it cause people to sweat alot during sleep.

You could have extra sweat glands.

You are having nightmares that you are unaware of. They are so traumatic your brain is suppressing them

Mental:
There are a number of psychological reasons for extra sweat to be produced by the body.

It could be that you are under a great deal of stress for a number of reasons and this is your bodies way of dealing with it.

I watched a TV show about a man who sweated alot. He had no medical problems. But he went to a spa for a few weeks and got "cleansed". This helped him alot.

I hope this helps,

This sounds as though your going threw menopause early in life. I'm much older and have experienced this for some time. When you see your doctor next time ask him or her. Some women get these" HOT FLASHES" real bad and others hardly have any symptoms. You are quite young but I believe this can happen. Cocoa

I would not know, do you dream alot? Are you overweight? You may have a mild flu, or beginning of some sort of sickness. Get to the doctor if it is a constant problem, don't wait for it to get worse
