i am sure she can do better than me!
i really want to make it work. any ideas on how to keep hold of her.
i'm not loaded with money by the way

don't change a thing. she is with you for what you were before she started dating you. she doesn't want someone else , she wants you (hard to believe, eh?). don't ruin this.

You are already hosed. Your self esteem is too low. Don't say junk like she can do better. If you believe that then so will she. Money isn't a huge deal to many woman. Accept that she's with you for you. Be a man. Don't suck up. Don't kiss her butt. Don't tell her every second how hot she is and how lucky you are. Basically, be a man. Be exciting, fun, funny, and a bit unpredictable. Don't accept childish temper tantrums from her.

Good luck. Making her happy can be one of the hardest or the easiest things to do. First you will need to know what it is that she enjoys, what she likes and what makes her smile. Once you have found out these things then you will know just what to do.
I must warn you though, even if you are everything that she wanted, everything that she ever dreamed about, everything that is wonderful to her, one little slip and it can come crashing down. As long as you are honest with yourself, honest with her and you do what you can to make each other happy then you will always be the luckiest man because of her.

Try to remember what you did to get there in the first place and then keep on doing it. It not about money, it's about your imagination and how to keep coming up with ideals to make her feel special. Like, cook her a nice dinner, give her messages and hot baths with candle light, flowers every once in a while, take her some place to do things she's never done.

first of all, your statement "I am sure she can do better than me" is rather defeatist.
perhaps you could look into some SELF-ESTEEM SELF HELP on line? your lack of confidence and self-worth isn't going to help this relationship.
i don't want to be with a man who puts himself down, so why would she?
money isn't everything, but i hope you can swing your budget to take her out on a date or do something together once a week or so? it doesn't have to be a four-star restaurant, etc.
you can't make or keep someone happy... happiness comes from within; however, you can probably persue the relationship and keep her attention by taking care of YOU, and being a considerate, decent person.
that's my two cents.

well, she is attracted to you for a reason. assuming she isn't shallow and just out for money, then be yourself. it doesn't matter if she can do better than you. your opinion of yourself doesn't count. if you are good to her, the two of you have a good time together, and you have similar interests, then just go with it. (for the record, I have thought from the beginning that my boyfriend could do better than me, and that when he was ready to move on, he would. it's been two years now, and we're happier than ever. it doesn't matter what you think of yourself, because you'll be harder on yourself than she will be on you.) as for keeping her happy, if she's happy now, then just keep doing what you're doing. all women love a bit of romance, for someone to do little things for them just to let them know they are cared for. it doesn't really take a lot of money. pick up a card that tells her how much she means to you every so often. cook her dinner every now and then. happy isn't about money, it's about how you feel. good luck!

You're gonna drive yourself crazy trying to think of things to do for her. Instead, just be yourself and treat her with love and respect.
I'm pretty sure you have some good qualities if she chose to be with you. So quit worrying so much and don't under estimate what you have to offer her.

Keep communication open. You will know deep down if she is the one but every relationship needs work.

give her good attention... make sure you guys talk a lot because if you only make out or stuff she might think you're only in the relationship for that
