Why would people prefer to think they are going to heaven?

where they do not have a flesh and blood body or eat or sleep
To be a spirit person that we don't really understand what that means to be.
Or wouldn't you rather think that you are going to live forever on a paradise earth and have all the things you have now without the bad stuff, like war, sickness, old age, and death?

You are right. Matthew 5:5 Jesus said the meek will inherit the earth. To inherit something means it now belongs to you.
Revelation 21: 3,4 says the tent of God will be with man kind. Where did God put man kind to live in the first place? When you are under a tent You are protected from the elements so like wise we will have Gods favor in the not so distant future.

who knows what heaven are like or hell are like. It is the people's imagination or belief. To me, i believe that heaven fills with no sin people and hell fills with sinned people. One is light and one is dark. I def, prefer to be in the light and i'm sure alot of others will chose light too. Hmm live forever on a paradise w/ out bad stuff, if u read one of the Christian's bible or Catholic bible, it says that we once had that life but Adam and Eva didn't keep their promise on not eating the forbidden fruit. So from that day on Human get punish, we can only get out of that punished world if we behave like a human being.

Heaven isn't for ever, the new earth and new Jerusalem are. After judgment there will be a new earth. It will be just like now only without evil. It will be like it was supposed to be had Adam not eaten of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

So what exactly are you asking again?

That latter part of your statement is exactly what the Bible teaches. We are not spirit beings and we will not go to heaven. We will be physical beings given eternal life in the presence of our Lord on a new earth. Thats what I believe because I believe the Bible.

I can think with my human brain for ten thousand years .Heaven is beyond human thought I would like to get there some time. Not until I have been properly trained in opposites. ALL of life Is Beautiful. Good bad pain pleasure it is all Life and Life is Beautiful.
Your heaven without bad sounds incredibly boring To me.Good for you. I would to see you after 100,000 years since you will still be in a linear universe then get your thoughts. So its either Beyond opposites the freedom from ego, or LIFE. all of life For me.

you don't don't go to heaven you stay on earth when you die you stay dead you don't go heaven or hell you stay on earth many people believe they are going to heaven but what you said is the point and what will happen in the feature will god destory all religion and all bad people and then finish then will be a Paradise then all the dead will come back to life and have a everlasting life

in heaven u will have no need to eat......the only way u get to heaven though is if u ask jeus in to ur heart...and to be a servant of him......im not tring to be rude but.....if u r not a christian and a server of god then ur not getting to heaven......and for the last part that is what heaven is like except it will not be on earth.....and just because we dont know what it is like to be a spirit in heaven doesnt mean weare not looking forward to it....im 15 and i already cant wait to go to heaven......that is when im done living my life and serveing jesus every chance i can

Its a nicer thought than the alternatives,having your organs harvested,being reduced to dust in the cremation of your body, or my particular favourite buried in a box ending up as worm food.

Most people tend to be more "spiritual" in their desires for an afterlife. We see the needs and desires of the body as flaws and weakness. We prefer to be "elevated".
