Rabbits don't eat protein. You stick to carrots, cabbage and celery. Rabbit pellets have what you need.

If you want protein :
Meat- lean meat like fish, chicken, and beef.
Eggs- the whites especially.
Nuts, but not too many, watch the fat intake.
Animal producs will have protein, including rabbit meat, or hassenpheffer.

i learned this from my polish friend who is a body builder maniac (18 yrs old, 240 pounds benches almost 450 pounds)

cottage cheese (almost pure protein)
lots of meat, beef, steak, chicken, jerky
milk, just milk
oatmeal/whole wheat bread
use protein powders
(if you are trying to gain weight it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to eat the protein RIGHT AFTER you work out)
