Oatmeal has been known mostly for it's cholesterol lowering abilities. I think you could incorporate oatmeal in for 1 meal each day as part of a healthy lifestyle. I think it could help you lose weight because it's filling and doesn't have too many calories, assuming you just add water and not butter and milk.

No but it helps u to have easy movement of stool.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

Oatmeal is good for you if you dont load it up wih sugars and bad things. It wont make you lose weight but it does contain a lot of fiber. Fiber makes you feel fuller longer and you wont have the urge to snack and eat as much. So yes it can help you to lose weight but eating it alone wont burn calories or fat.

oatmeal helps you lose weight because it has lots of fiber. it not only helps get rid of solid wastes, it help you feel full longer so you don't want to eat for a bit longer. that 150 calories can keep you satisfied all morning and prevent a midafternoon craving.

Oatmeal (w/o sugar and loads of butter) is good for you and promotes a healthy diet, but eating it doesn't cause your body to burn more calories.
If you want to know what effect it has on weightloss, then put your search engine to work and see what articles you can find on the various benefits of oatmal. âº
