My BMI is 23.8. I am kind of fat. What should I do that do am not already doing? I walk 4.6 miles everyday (if I do walk twice around the block), I swim, dance, and I try to get off my lazy rear and do a work out video. I eat pretty health, actually very healthy, but I have this crazy sweet tooth.

Ever since February I have been trying to turn myself around. Exercise more, and eat less. I use to eat all the time, and even if I wasn't hungry.

Your BMI sounds pretty good to me, especially if you eat healthy and exercise. If you are unsatisfied with the way you look increase you're exercise, or try curbing your sweet tooth.
Everytime you get a need for something sweet, go out and run for 10 minutes or get your mind off of food in some way.

Seems to be ok.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

BMI is almost useless, IMO. It does not take into account muscle versus fat. It only counts weight and height. Many professional athletes come out as obese or severly overweight on BMI because they have so much muscle weight. It sounds like you are fairly active. A better indicator would be your bodyfat percentage.

Hi,
Your BMI is in a healthy range. It sounds like you get a lot of cardio in and your diet sounds really good. Maybe if you start a regular strength training program, it will help you burn fat and target your muscles and help them get shaped up. But you have to commit to it in order to help them develop! That is the only suggestion I can think of...
Good luck!

if you figured your BMI from a calculator on the net, it might not be entirely accurate. you might have more muscle which weighs more and puts you in a higher BMI. you'd have to ask a doctor or someone in the health or exercise fields to help you figure out a more accurate BMI.

Seems fine... as long as your not kidding yourself... do you actually eat healthy and walk that much?? If you do then no need to worry, but if you're not then you should.
