God knows your heart...God knows who you are referring to when you pray for an individual...Paul said to "pray continuously" and it sounds like that is what you have been doing....when I pray for individuals, I do include their names if I know it, but if I don't I don't worry about it...God knows who I mean....just pray with an open honest heart....God will do the rest...as to where to pray...ANYWHERE....I pray while going to sleep, while driving, while watching TV, when alone, at work....everyplace and in every way I pray.......on your knees every once in a while doesn't hurt either....it shows respect, love and obedience to our God....

Prayer is more than just praying for what you want or want for others. No, you do not have to be on your knees to do it. But next time you are in prayer instead of trying to get everything into the prayer that you deem necessary just try listening for a change. You never know, the Lord might speak to you and tell you what to pray for.....
Prayer is about communication and communication is a two way street.

I guess you can talk to God anywhere you feel comfortable. In bed I'm usually kind of sleepy. The most broken rule in a conversation is to not listen. It's even worse in prayers. And if you have a father, do you always call to ask for something? The answers in your head, some are from the universe's telephone service. If you can pick up which line He's on you have a conversation going. Anything less is sad. A non litening son.

I have wondered that before and then I asked myself this question. What if I told a good friend to pray for me and she just done a general prayer. When I ask someone to pray for me I know they first are prayer warriors and I know they walk close with the Lord. I am not asking them for a general prayer. I don't just ask anyone to pray for me. And when someone ask me I take there name and there situation to God. It doesnt matter where you pray, but don't start a prayer just so you can say you did it today. Pray for those people who ask you to pray.

To find and catch the prey, you need sharp senses, quick reflexes and sharp claws and teeth. A bit of bodyweight for momentum helps too.
Just go outside, find a good scent and follow it a while. If it leads too far away from home then let it go.... but if it leads to a tasty-looking animal then wait and watch it until it lets its guard down. Then you charge in swiftly and bite its neck. It should stop squirming soon enough.
If you cannot manage that then forage instead. There are usually enough tasty morsels to be found just lying on the ground under leaves and amongst the grass if you look hard enough.

God knows your heart, pray the Lord's prayer in Matthew 6:8-13.
I pray whenever and where ever, laying in my bed, sitting on the couch, washing dishes, cooking, taking a shower. I talk to my Lord as HE is my friend who is always near me.

u know i kept asking myself that question and i figured it out on my own. well it donsn't matter what u pray for as long as u truely believe. u don't have to get on ur knees to pray. u can pray in the shower in school in the car or on a rollercoaster anytime anywhere. there is no wrong way on how to pray. just as long as u mean it. when u pray it doesn't have to be really formal. pray to God like ur talking to somebody, u don't have to make it sound fancy. some people find it helpful to keep a list of things they want to pray about. while u can pray for everybody that u know, u have to truly want it and not just doing it because u pity them or if u feel like u have too. hope this helps!!!

It doesn't matter how you pray. laying down or on your knee , what matter is in your mind you allready believe God has answered you pray and you allready have what you want. I believe in pray . I got andwered anytime from invitation from old friend to having motorbike and new job. sometimes you know how people says that god could answered pray with'No" , i tend to not believe on it ., as a result my faith is increasing. Now i try to ask for bigger thing. So believe and you shall receive.

Prayer is suppose to be between you and God. A personal, private time. See St. Matthew 6: 5-13. That covers it all.

I agree with Tyler a. It doesn't matter _how_ you pray as long as it's from the heart. you can add as little or as many details as you wish. Just follow your heart. I even lay down when I pray right before bed. It doesn't matter if you kneel, sit, stand or lay down as long as the prayer comes from your heart.
