Lets put it this way, if you are THAT sick, stay home, dammit. I am tired of getting sick because people dont have the self respect for themselves and others to not spread their stupid colds, flues, pinkeye, etc.
this also goes for EMPLOYEES. the next time I go to a fast food restaurant and see an employee with a headcold, I am going to go ballistic. IF YOU ARE SICK, STAY HOME

I should add that I have COPD (emphysema and chronic bronchitis) and am even MORE susceptible to anything airborne, hence my unpleasant reaction to it.

Well not as dramatic as "BALLISTIC" .
also, say so to the manager, do not pay for the contaminated food . Leave it there and leave. If this is a recurring incident at this restaurant --the health department needs to know. You may have to make the call!

I agree...but you should also be scolding the "managers" of these fast food chains...many times the worker tries to call in and has their job threatened because the manager can't or doesn't want to find someone to cover for them...Sick people stay home...
