I turned 20 a few months ago and I have always had straight hair. I love it when I curl it but it never really last and it takes forever for me to curl it. I want something that will last. Should I get a spiral perm?

oh honey. no spirals... it may sound like a good idea, but trust me you will end up looking like a poodle... a poodle from the 80's........
no, go to a salon and look thru the picture books, find several styles you like, and talk with a stylist... there are a lot of different types of perm, that can give some waves... or deeper curl. or just some body...
this will also depend on the length and condition of your hair.... please no spirals... ugh...

From experience, if you have short/medium thick hair then no because more than likely you will turn out looking like I did with a really big afro (no offense to anyone) but if you have long thick hair just be careful about how small or big of a curl that you get. I would go with big curls if I were you to be on the safe side. The curls look gorgeous though. If you get the right size curl for the right length and thickness/thinness of your hair. Good Luck. I'm sure you will look fabulous though.

spiral perms r cute, but, i think they look a bit 2 formal 4 every day occasions. if u want, go get a perm!!!!!!!!! just not a spiral.

That sounds like a good idea. My hair has been wavy my whole life (, but through my "kid" years, it was super straight) and I love it straight. Do whatever makes you happy, that's all that matters :)
