I have brown hair with natural blonde highlights. My hair comes to my shoulders but i am growing it out. right now. i have long bangs that are straight accross.
i also play soccer and lacrosse.

I think some side bangs 4 or 5 inches above your hair length would look nice on you especially with your hair tied. And you could always use bobbys pins when playing.

I also have a similar coiffure and hair. usually this sort of hair curls nicely. short bangs bypass nicely with loose curls. Curl the front area of your hair, next to the bangs. then you fairly can pin those lower back with some lovable clips. It gives you extra of a kinda beautiful kinda person seem.

i have side bangs that are angled down, i have long layers that are choppy at the ends not really super blended like everyone has been getting, it gives more deffinition. i'm getting my hair done again tomorrow.. email me later and i'll send you pics tomorrow!
i made sure to keep enough length that i can pull it up in a pony tail when needed too
