I’M NOT A NUTRITIONIST OR DIETITIAN
Why would you want to do that? I heard two stories:
1] A friend of mine dated a vegan. JUST to pull a practical joke, he told her he made a “special” soy burger just for her for lunch. MAYBE she took two bites of it and she got sick. They dated for a while longer and broke up. Is this what you want?

2] A very, very long time ago [I’m sorry, I don’t remember the year or country] in Europe, a man was raised on honey. That’s all he ate was honey and the products derived form honey.

There was a contest about the best honey is a specific country. The man won 1st place.

In his honor, the king had a banquet in that man’s honor. The king served the finest of everything: wine, fruit, meat, poultry, vegetables, etc. The man indulged and remarked how delicious everything was. Before going home, he was provided with a room for the night. The next morning a breakfast was hel in his honor. Everyone waited for him to arise and make an appearance. 10 minutes passed . . . 20 . . . 30 . . . 45 minutes passed.

Being very impatient, hungry and probably having a full schedule, the king sent one of his men to get the man. The servant knocked on the door a few times. No answer. He called through the door a few times. No answer. The servant asked some of the staff if any one saw the man leave. Every one said, No, sir.”

Finally, the servant had a few men break-down the door. The servant went into the chambers and there was the man - dead.

An autopsy was performed. The man died from food poisoning. His system was never exposed to any of the foods he ate.

Please respect your girlfriend and her lifestyle. How about if you try some of the dishes she eats? It might be a change of pace for you. AND she might appreciate you seeing things from her point of view and perspective.

Thank you for asking your question. I enjoyed taking the time to answer your question. You did a great job - not only for your information, but for every other person interested in reading my answer.

I wish you well!

VTY,
Ron B.

Now I cn not speak with any authority however, I have read in the past(don't recall were)the human body needs a little bit of a lot of food because of the over all break down of the food. They work on each other so the body can use the products contained with in. I know when I was ACS that many of the people had a lot of intestinal problems bc they only ate vegs and sea food, so when the diet was change to be more red meats other vegs the people became bigger. We Americans hve a unusual diet and food consumption. In some country's upon death the body begins to break down real fast were as here and in more developed countries it breaks down much slower. To wit is y we process the body in the way we do. In Nam body's were often found with a plastic bag over the head in order to keep it and religious reason unknown to me. But the rest of the body was in not very good shape yet the face u could still ID. Weird but it works for them or did.

That's not for you to decide. She has made a life choice by becoming a vegetarian. It's not cool that you would try to force / sneak something into her food. Could end your friendship too.

Most vegetarians don't eat meat because they don't believe in killing animals for food, not because they don't like the taste of meat. So my advice to you is to just let your friend be a vegetarian if she wants to. don't disrespect her belifes just because you think she will like the taste of meat after all. Besides, if she found out you snuck meat into her food, you probably won't be friends anymore.

Blue- just wanted to say I gave you the thumbs down by accident- I meant it to be a thumbs up, but my two year old hit my arm...Just had to clear that up!

As for feeding your veggie friend bacon.. some friend you are. Why can meat eaters just not leave us to our own decisions.

I find it ironic that when you get one outspoken veggie, all the meat eater gang up on them, but when a meat eater mentions doing something so stupid, they think it's just funny.

I wish meat eaters would consider vegetarianism similar to a food allergy- you wouldn't give peanuts to someone with an allergy to them, so why feed meat to someone who hates it?

That is one of the cruelest things I have ever heard. That is like saying, I want to give my nut allergic friend nuts, because I know they will love it. I don't think your friend dislikes bacon, it is a personal choice they made. You have no right to force her to change her mind. BTW, would you mind if I smacked you over the head cuz I know you'll love it!!

DO NOT EVEN TRY !!!!!!! Let me tell you from experience that you shouldn't try it...I myself used to be a vegan...And when i started eating meat again after three years without it the first thing my body Did was automatically reject it...Do not get me wrong it tasted good but my system wasn't used to it and who likes throwing up...This person could become violently sick even if it is short term.,...

Don't ever make a vegetarian eat meat because it can make them very sick and you would be the cause of it.
