...get her nice shoes wet. Do you think Chivalry is dead? Or am I the only "Knight In Shining Armor" still left in the world?

(not bragging...I just love giving girls piggy-back rides, anyway...so it was no big deal...)

I've always thought giving piggyback in reverse is more respectful and chivalrous.

If that is the basis of knighthood then I'm sure many men out there can still be considered knights in shining armor.

"Chivalry" is alive and well........Actually I was called a "Knight in Shining Armor" just today. Though it had been a while since I had heard those words, it was nice to hear it from someone who actually meant it? Giving
piggy-back rides, while it think it's the reason for the ride that was "chivalrous" to a point. There is much more to "True Chivalry." Some women actually take offense to
a man trying to make a Lady feel like a Lady. This truly evades me! Maybe its the "liberated woman" thing, which
I truly have no problems. I guess this day and time with lack of trust between people, some actually think you have ulterior motives. Now I think some move away from
it for these reasons. Where at a time I acted upon pure instinct, now I generally try to think it through before doing anything. (That is a shame)

Chivalry is not dead, it is just misplaced on the library shelf.
Interesting foot note:
Chivalry was originally about horsemanship, vice the term Chevalier, or horseman. after years of nasty smelly knights being men, royal decree required knights to learn courtesy or more correctly, manners befitting the court.
Blame the women.

Having your girlfriend on your back with all her 'assets' touching you is not chivalry, that is a cheap thrill! Nothing wrong with it tough...

If you had laid down on the ground (or put your clothes down on the ground) so she could have walked on you instead of getting her shoes wet, that would have been chivalry.

Or maybe you are just cheap, since you bought the shoes, and you did not want to pay for another pair when they got ruined.

Even in days of chivalry, there were drunken, classless peasants. My fiance puts roses in my hair every day, opens doors for me, and to this day REFUSES to let me pay when we go out to eat. Chivalry is NOT dead, but there will always be the classless serfs. If there weren't people who don't know how to treat a lady, the word chivalry would not exist. Instead it would be called "normal male behavior".

you seem to have an fairly low opinion of #2 and seem to extreme gentle #a million an damaging lot it would seem you have already made your %.. i think sorry for sort 2 because of the fact he cares for you even though it would seem which you do not care in any respect And my wager is sort 2 is your boyfriend and sort a million is the guy you're seeing on the area. purely bypass with sort a million because of the fact #2 sounds like he could discover better then you fairly.
