im on a strictly water drinking program, and my mom bought me some crystal light stuff but i was wondering does mixing it with water take away from any of its nutrients or benifits?

No, it's not adding anyting but 5 calories per serving. There are no nutrients in water, but it is not taking away any of the benifits. If your worried about the calories in it, drink it cold, you body will burn 10 caloried tring to heat up cold beverages you consume.

Crystal light is worse for you then water, but it is still light on calories, check the ingredants of your crystal light and see if the taste of it out weights that calaories and other stuff they have in the mix. If you think the mix taste good and dont mind the 10-20 calories in it then add it to your water.

water doesnt have any nutrients, it just hydrates you and i dont think adding crystal light would effect anything

no it just flavors it for you. i drink it alot when i get bored with plain water... that way i can get my recommended intake
