what's the difference between passion and compassion??

i really dont know the difference.. can anyone tell me??

Passion has lots of meaning , which one are u lookin for
it could mean :
* Intense or overpowering emotion such as love
* Strong sexual desire and exitement
* An outburst of emotion such as rage, jealousy
* and it could also mean having a keen interest in a particular activity or someone's enthusiasm

AND
Compassion means havin sympathy for the suffering of others and it may include the desire to help them out . it's showing kindness, concern and care for someone or something basically!!!!!!!
