Is it more healthy to sleep without a pillow, or vice versa? When I say healthy, I mean things like posture, etc. Thanks.

This is a big question every one ask. It depends on which side do you sleep. If you are lying on your back while you sleep, then you should avoid a thick pillow. Use a very thin pillow.
If you sleep on your side, then you use a pillow which will fill the gap between your head and your shoulder.
Avoid using a very soft pillow.
Use a firm pillow to support the head. Your head should not sag too much.

Cervical spondilosys patients should avoid pillows as the elevation causes a lot of discomfort.

I use two under my head, and one to support my upper arm when I am on my side, and I am fine.
