Climate Change? How do you plan on stopping the climate from changing? The climate is always changing. It is not possible to stop the climate from changing please don't waist your time thinking about ways to do it.

We can't do anything to reduce it, but we can learn to adapt to the changes. Too many people are trying to be King Canute and hold back the waves. What we should be doing is figuring out the best way to build a boat ( metaphorically speaking ) to survive the changes as intact as possible.

Corporations need to get better at conservation as they are the big problem. Even as a single person we need to improve our actions. Every little thing we do as people can help earth.

Think about it!

How many times do you see a building, a bus,a truck or a car emitting too much black smoke? What happens when a developer puts up a building in place of trees and plants that make oxygen?

What do you do at home? Do you burn your leaves? Do you use too much air conditioning or heat when you could just wear different clothes? Do you throw away too much trash that takes the place of plants? Do you ride around too much in your car and use uneccesary gas?

Everything adds up.

Not much.
With the "global" market and free trade.
It takes alot of burnt carbon to ship things from Country to country to save a few cents on labor.
It also takes alot of burnt carbon to support the private jets, limos and multiple mansions of our elite. Military manuevers burn whopping amounts of fossil fuels.
Soon , due to meteorological globophobia, you will be forced through taxes and bans to support the opulent lifestyles of the ones who want you to do as they say, not as they do.
We can definitely reduce our standard of living through ridiculous taxes though.
While you do your part, countries like China and India will get more and more of our industrial work because they don't have the taxes and environmental standards we do.
The result, third world poor and an entrenched global elite that taxes the very breath you exhale,
and little effect on "climate change".
After all, someone has to support all those scientists on the political payroll.

As the demand for power in our homes and work has increased, the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) released into our atmosphere has also increased. CO2 is the main gas responsible for climate change.

we can all make small changes to our daily lives which can reduce emission levels and if enough of us do them, then we can help slow down global climate change.
For example, go to work by bus or by foot.Reduce the rate of using personal automobile.

Basically climate change is due to global warming. Well you could start by reducing the use of air-conditioners; stop burning rubbish; carpool; install catalytic converters in cars; 'clean' the smoke released from the burning of coal in factories; and recycle.

Trevor's answer is golden. I can do nothing to improve on it, nor can anyone else who has answered so far. The links he's listed at the end are great, and will provide all the detail you want.

What I can do is answer some of the silly arguments made here by global warming deniers.

One gave a link to wikipedia listing a few skeptical scientists, one by one.

Here's a wikipedia link with many thousands of scientists who know that it's real and mostly caused by us:

Others have said that this is just a natural change. That's wrong. Scientists have proven that global warming is real and mostly caused by us. Here's a good picture, from the Source below:

Wait. The projected sunspot activity should change soon. We'll see a natural decrease in overall temps in 2010 to 2100.

Temps follow sunspot activity very closely.

unfortunately, nothing.

it's like trying to stop it from raining.

you can't change normal weather patterns.

REAL scientists, ones who are objective, don't necessarily agree with "man made" global warming
